Emotionally Focused Therapy with Couples, Individuals & Families

Therapy is a powerful tool for growth and healing, for reducing conflict and increasing closeness in our relationships, and for feeling supported in the tough times in our lives.

Couples Therapy

“Love doesn't just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new.”

― Ursula K. Le Guin

At times, nearly every couple gets caught in a negative cycle or dance that leads to conflict or painful distance.

Here’s what I help couples with:

  • Learning about your negative cycle and how to interrupt it

  • Feeling less alone

  • Knowing your partner is there for you

  • Experiencing less conflict and more connection

  • Healing from relationship injuries including infidelities

  • Creating more intimacy

  • Feeling secure in your relationship

  • Being able to talk about anything and everything

Individual Therapy

To struggle is to be human. But sometimes those struggles become overwhelming. When your struggles impact your sense of yourself, your ability to engage in your life the way you want to, that’s where I come in. I lean in to your struggles to provide you with the support you need to journey to your best self.

“Suffering is a given, suffering alone is intolerable.”

— John Bowlby

How I work

As humans we have a great need to feel seen, heard … and accepted. Through my warm style of leaning in to whatever struggles are present, I work hard to make sure that my clients feel deeply understood and accepted. Creating this atmosphere of emotional safety opens all kinds of doors to exploration and discovery of ourselves, to healing, and to connecting with our best selves and our most important people.
